We're Laura and Colin — two dancers who couldn't find a simple way to discover dance events while traveling. So we built one.
Colin
Co-Founder
Colin discovered social dancing in his hometown and never looked back. As a developer and dancer, he saw an opportunity to help fellow dancers find their next floor anywhere in the world. His city guides are built on firsthand visits, local contacts, and dozens of nights out.
Laura
Co-Founder
Laura fell for salsa while traveling through Latin America. What started as a single class turned into a decade on dance floors across Europe and South America. She writes the style and beginner guides because they're the ones she wishes she had when she started.
Our Story
We met on the dance floor and quickly bonded over a shared frustration: finding good dance events while traveling was way too hard.
Every city we visited, we'd spend hours scrolling through Facebook groups, asking locals, and hoping to stumble upon a social. We knew there had to be a better way.
So we decided to fix that. Where to dance Salsa is our love letter to the global dance community, a place where dancers can instantly find their next dance floor, no matter where they are in the world.
