Bachata in Poland runs on 19 weekly socials across six cities. Warsaw leads with the most events, followed by Lodz, Krakow and Poznan, with smaller scenes in Wroclaw and Gdansk. The best nights are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but you can find a social on almost any day of the week. Salsa is still the bigger scene here, with 16 weekly events sharing many of the same venues, so most floors mix both styles. Kizomba and zouk stay small for now. Entry is usually cheap or free, and turning up alone is normal. If you plan around a festival, Bachaturo in Katowice each August is one of Poland's biggest bachata events.
