Bachata in Berlin gives you 8 events a week, and all 8 are weekly socials. Friday is the busiest night with 3 parties. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday each add one more, so you can dance six days out of seven. Only Tuesday stays quiet. Most nights happen in dance bars, studios and social clubs, with one open-air spot by the water in the warmer months. Bachata shares the floor with a strong salsa scene here (11 salsa events run in the same city), plus some kizomba and one zouk night. Coming alone is normal in Berlin, and people rotate partners from the start. Many socials open with a short class before the free dancing begins.
