Bachata in Malmo

Bachata in Malmö runs five weekly socials across five venues. Thursday is the busiest night with two parties, and the rest of the week fills in on Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. That gives you four nights out of seven to dance. The scene spreads across hotels, community halls, and, in summer, open-air spots by the harbor in Västra Hamnen. Bachata sits alongside an equal salsa scene here, with five salsa events in the same city and one kizomba night, so many floors mix styles in one evening. Malmö is small and close to Copenhagen, so dancers often cross the bridge for more parties. Coming alone is normal, and people rotate partners from the start.
