Baila en Cuba

Baila en Cuba, also billed as the Encuentro Mundial de Casineros y Salseros, is an annual November meeting of Cuban salsa and casino dancers in Havana, organized by Artex S.A. with Paradiso as its official cultural tourism agency. The 2026 edition runs November 15 to 20 and packs six days of workshops in son, rumba, mambo, cha cha cha and Cuban folkloric dances, taught by teachers including faculty of the University of the Arts of Cuba. Nights bring live Cuban bands and DJ sessions at the Salon Rosado Benny More de la Tropical, and a competition in partner and rueda de casino categories awards the Bailar en casa del trompo trophy plus a full pass for the 2027 edition. The event has been held since 2006 and gathers dancers and academies from many countries.
