Ardiente Dance Company

Ardiente Dance Company is a Salsa On2 (mambo) performance and teaching company based in North Bethesda, Maryland, serving the greater Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) dance scene. Founded in 2016 and directed by David Cuevas, it fields a Pro team, a Son de Ardiente team led by Nelson Ortiz, and a student team that train, perform, and compete both locally and nationally, alongside weekly On2 mambo classes at Z-Sweat Dance & Fitness in North Bethesda. At the Boston Salsa Festival 2026 in Waltham (August 21 to 23), Ardiente teaches a Salsa On2 Partnering Combinations workshop and performs with its Pro and Ladies teams.
