Salsa in Dublin runs six nights a week, and all six are weekly socials. Thursday is the busiest night with two parties. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each add one more, so you can dance five days out of seven. That gives you a steady midweek scene without long gaps. Most socials happen in city-centre bars and dance studios, with a few near the docklands and out in Lucan. Several nights pair salsa with bachata, which is the bigger style here with eight events, so many floors switch between the two. Kizomba adds three nights and zouk one. Many socials open with a short beginner class before the party, and coming alone is normal, since dancers rotate partners from the first song.
