Salsa in Leipzig gives you 4 weekly socials across the week. Sunday is the strongest day with 2 parties, and Tuesday and Wednesday each add one. So you can dance salsa on three days out of seven. The scene splits between a dance studio and relaxed indoor spots, with two summer socials held outdoors near the Clara-Zetkin-Park. In warm months some parties move to the riverside and the park, which is common in Leipzig. Bachata runs the same number of events (4), and 2 kizomba nights round out the week, so several floors mix styles. Coming alone is normal, and many socials open with a short class before the free dancing starts.
