Italy
Salsa in Rome runs 13 weekly socials across seven venues. Sunday is the busiest night with 4 parties, and Saturday adds 3 more. Wednesday brings another 3, so the midweek is covered too. Between Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, you can dance six days out of seven. Many socials happen in Latin clubs and social clubs, and warm-weather events move outdoors near the center. In summer, open-air parties run close to the Colosseum. Salsa here often shares the floor with bachata, which also counts 13 weekly events, so most nights mix both. Two kizomba socials round out the week. Coming alone is normal, and locals rotate partners from the first song.
