Salsa in Sliema runs four nights a week, with 9 weekly socials in total. Wednesday is the busiest night with 3 parties, and Friday matches it with 3 more. Tuesday adds one early-week option, and Saturday brings 2. So you can dance salsa from midweek through the weekend without a long gap. The scene mixes hotel ballrooms, beach clubs along the Sliema seafront, and dedicated Latin bars and studios. Several nights share the floor with bachata (8 events) and kizomba (4 events), so you often get more than one style in an evening. Sliema sits at the center of Malta's small but active Latin circuit, and many dancers cross over from Valletta and St Julian's. Coming alone is normal, and partners rotate freely.
