Salsa in Sydney runs all seven days, with 18 weekly socials spread across 16 venues. Friday is the busiest night with 6 parties, and Sunday follows with 4. Even Monday and Tuesday each hold one social, so you can dance any day you choose. The scene spreads from the city and Darling Harbour to the western suburbs around Blacktown and Ashfield. Nights happen in dance studios, RSL and community clubs, bars, and a few beachside spots. Many floors mix salsa with bachata, which runs 19 events a week here, plus smaller zouk and kizomba nights. Most socials open with a short class, and coming alone is normal since dancers rotate partners from the start.
