Salsa in Tijuana
Mexico
Salsa in Tijuana runs three nights a week, and all three are weekly socials. Saturday is the busiest night with two parties, and Friday adds one more. So you can dance salsa on the weekend without planning far ahead. The socials happen in nightclubs and event spaces, including venues near Pueblo Amigo Plaza in the Zona Río part of town. The scene is small but steady, and the same crowd mixes salsa with bachata, since three bachata socials run in the same city. Coming alone is common, and most floors rotate partners from the first song.
