Kizomba at Our Kizomba Connection, Amsterdam

This is the weekly, school-run kizomba social in Amsterdam: Our Kizomba Connection’s Tuesday-night meet focuses squarely on kizomba and the family of styles around it. The social is run by the OKC team (Kevin and Marleen) and sits alongside their regular programme of group classes, private lessons and workshops that run across Amsterdam, Almere and Utrecht. Music at the socials follows Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha and European Urban Kiz/Kizomba Fusion rather than mixed-Latin sets.

Practically, expect a student-heavy crowd that often moves straight from class into the social, an explicit emphasis on connection, musicality and dance ethics, and an organiser-led format rather than a bar-driven party.
