Bachata in Atlanta runs eight weekly socials across five venues. Saturday is the busiest night with four parties, so it is the easiest day to find a floor. Tuesday through Friday each add one social, which lets you dance five days out of seven. Most events happen in Latin bars and dance studios, with a few in Buckhead and Midtown restaurants that clear space for dancing. Salsa shares the same scene, with nine events a week, so many nights mix both styles on one floor. You will hear modern bachata and sensual sets, along with some Dominican bachata.
