Bachata in Phuket runs four nights a week, and all four are weekly socials. Friday is the busiest with two parties. Tuesday and Saturday each add one more, so you can dance three days out of seven. Most events happen in bars and cantinas around Rawai and Chalong, in the south of the island near the beaches. The scene is small but steady, built around a close group of expats and locals. Salsa runs on the same nights with four events, and two kizomba socials round out the week, so many floors mix styles in one evening. Coming alone is fine here. People know each other and rotate partners from the first song.
