About this Festival
Salsa Fest (SalsaFest Veracruz) is a large free open-air salsa festival held annually at the Salsodromo in Boca del Rio, part of the Veracruz metro area in Mexico, organized by the Veracruz state government and its tourism ministry. The 2026 edition ran June 12 to 14 with free general admission plus paid table-zone tickets, and local press reported more than 250,000 attendees on its second day. Editions go back to at least 2019, and past lineups have included artists such as Oscar D'Leon, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Buena Vista All Stars. Dates for a 2027 edition have not been announced.
