Salsa in Las Palmas De Gran Canaria
Spain
Salsa in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria runs four nights a week, and all four are weekly socials. Sunday is the busiest night, and Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday each add one more party. So you can dance salsa four days out of seven across the city. The socials spread across a hotel ballroom, a beach-side club near Las Canteras, and a gastro venue, so you get both dressy and relaxed rooms. Bachata is just as active with 4 events, and kizomba adds 3 more, so most floors mix styles in one night. Cuban-style salsa is common on the island, and rueda often breaks out. Coming alone is normal, and locals rotate partners.
