Salsa in Los Angeles gives you 20 events a week, and all 20 are weekly socials. Friday is the busiest night with 7 parties, followed by Saturday with 4. Tuesday and Wednesday add 3 each, so you can dance six days out of seven across 17 venues. Most socials happen in dance studios and nightclubs, with some restaurant floors and Cuban spots in the mix. LA leans hard toward salsa on1, the style the city helped define, with strong LA-style crossbody dancing. Bachata is almost as big here, with 19 events in the same week, and 3 kizomba nights round out the floor. Many venues run a class before the social, and coming alone is normal since dancers rotate partners.
