Zouk in Brisbane

Zouk in Brisbane runs five socials a week, and all five are weekly events. Friday is the busiest night with two parties, and Saturday also has two. Sunday adds one more, so you can dance zouk three days out of seven. The scene sits inside Brisbane's wider Latin dance world, where salsa, bachata, and kizomba each run eight or nine events a week. Most nights happen in dedicated Latin dance studios and clubs, and several floors share the same rooms across styles. Brazilian zouk grew here alongside lambazouk, so expect flowing, connection-led social dancing. Many socials pair with a class earlier in the evening, which makes it easy to arrive without a partner. Coming alone is normal, and dancers rotate partners through the night.
